This is my final project at SCAD, a proof of concept for a Wild West Dracula comic. This scene specifically follows Van Helsing, the preacher, and John Seward, the sheriff, following the burial of Lucy Westenra. Lucy is buried with a bell, and when she turns into a vampire she starts ringing it. Seward and Van Helsing dig her up, since they believe she must have been unconscious when they buried her, and when they do she tries to kill them. Van Helsing survives by defending himself with a cross coated in gold, gold being one of the in-universe weaknesses of vampires.
